Salzburg Cathedral

Salzburg Cathedral is the focal point of Salzburg, a religious city that has flourished since the Middle Ages. It is a Catholic church dedicated to St. Rupert, who laid the foundation of the church, and to St. Virgil, who built the first cathedral in 774. The Baroque cathedral, with its magnificent façade with two towers and impressive interior frescoes, is also known for Mozart's baptism and numerous compositions as an organist.
