Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús

Facing the southeast side of Plaza de Armas in the center of Cusco, Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús is a Jesuit church built on the ruins of the palace of the Inca emperor Waina Capac. It is characterized by its elaborately carved baroque façade and two towers that shine against the blue sky. It is a symbol of the beautiful Plaza de Armas, along with the Cusco Cathedral, which stands next to it across the corner, and is a tourist attraction that attracts many visitors.

City of Cusco

The city of Cusco is located at an altitude of 3,400 meters in the Andes Mountains.
