Eyjafjallajökull

The Eyjafjallajökull Glacier, located in southern Iceland, is the sixth largest glacier in the country. Underneath the glacier, a 1,666-meter-high volcano, which erupted in 2010, is still breathing. The pure white glacier on top of the mountain, shining under the blue sky, can be seen from various places on the south coast, and the beautiful waterfalls caused by the glacier are also a highlight.

South Coast of Iceland

Along National Route 1 on the south coast of Iceland, from Selfoss to the town of Höfn, there is a wide variety of scenery created by volcanoes and glaciers. In addition to beautiful waterfalls and glacial lakes, there are many otherworldly spots such as airplane wreckage and black sand beaches, and driving around them is a regular part of sightseeing in Iceland.
