Banff, Canada
Moraine Lake
Nestled in a valley at an elevation of 1,885 meters, surrounded by the rugged mountains of the Rocky Mountains, Moraine Lake is one of Banff National Park's most scenic spots, with its mysterious blue color unique to glacial lakes. The lake is open to visitors from June, when the ice melts and melt water flows in to fill the lake, to October, when winter peeks through. The most popular activity here is an easy trail that offers spectacular views of the lake and mountains.
Banff National Park
Banff National Park in Alberta was the first national park in Canada established in 1887 to protect the spectacular natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies. The scenery is breathtaking, with the snow-capped ridges of the Rocky Mountains reflected in an emerald green glacial lake surrounded by thick green coniferous forests. It has become a major resort area where travelers from all over the world come to enjoy the charm of nature.
