Puerto de la Cruz

Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife's earliest resort town, is located on the north side of the island, on the coast of the Orotava Valley. The city's mild climate, which allows year-round swimming, and its relaxed atmosphere attracted people, and it became a resort for wealthy Europeans in the early 19th century.
