Tbilisi, Georgia
Georgian Railway
Since its inception in 1871, the Georgian Railway has served as a crucial transportation link within Georgia and between neighboring countries. It started with a route connecting Poti, on the Black Sea, to the inland capital of Tbilisi, and over the years, the railway network has significantly expanded. Deeply intertwined with the industrial and agricultural sectors, it offers extensive freight services, and recent years have seen enhancements in passenger convenience with the introduction of modern trains.
City of Tbilisi
Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, weaves its history since the 5th century on both banks of the Mtkvari River, surrounded by mountains on three sides. In the center of the city, various elements from medieval fortresses to the colorful old town, Soviet-era housing complexes, and state-of-the-art and eccentric buildings come together to create a unique landscape. Known as a cultural hub by a new generation, the city is also full of hot spots for fashion, art, clubs, and other fields that are the focus of the world's attention.
