Griffith Observatory

The Griffith Observatory, built in 1935 on a hill overlooking Los Angeles, is a magnificent Art Deco-style observatory with many attractions, including a planetarium, astronomical telescopes, and an exhibit on the planets. The most popular of these is the planetarium, where you can enjoy a wonderful astronomical show that makes you feel as if you are in outer space. At night, it is a popular spot where many people visit to see the night view of Los Angeles spread out like an orange carpet.
