Katsuura Fishing Port

Located in the southeastern part of the Boso Peninsula, in the calm Katsuura Bay surrounded by a rias coast, Katsuura Fishing Port is one of the largest fishing ports in Japan, boasting one of the highest landings of bonito. Other fish and shellfish landed here include lobsters, swordfish, tuna, abalone, and turban shells. As a supply center for the Tokyo metropolitan area, it is always bustling with activity, with fish caught in the morning and delivered to your table the very same day.

Minamiboso
