Ubara Utopia

Ubara Utopia is a scenic spot created by the undulating topography of Myojinzaki, which juts out from the west side of Katsuura Bay. Since the Meiji era (1868-1912), many literary figures, including Yukio Mishima and Akiko Yosano, have been known to stay here, attracted by the beauty of the natural formations. The hiking course in this beautiful utopia allows you to enjoy the intricate shapes of the rocks and the endless expanse of the Pacific Ocean while feeling the gentle breeze of the seaside.

Minamiboso
