Singapore, Singapore
North Bridge Road
North Bridge Road is one of Singapore’s oldest paved roads, stretching about 2.7 kilometers from the northern end of Elgin Bridge, which spans the Singapore River—hence the name. Along the way, the scenery shifts from historic shophouses to modern high-rises and government buildings. With landmarks like Raffles Hotel and the Sultan Mosque lining the route, it's a road familiar to many visitors to Singapore.
City Hall Area
The area around City Hall MRT subway station is a hub for sightseeing, surrounded by some of Singapore's most iconic spots, such as Marina Bay to the east and Orchard to the west. Touring the beautiful architecture built during the colonial period, including the Raffles Hotel, named after the British administrator who founded Singapore, is a unique experience here. At the end of the day, you may want to spend a lively evening at Clarke Quay on the riverside.
