Takachiho Gorge
Takachiho Gorge is known for its beautiful scenery brought about by the eruption of Mount Aso. The gorge has beautiful scenery that makes you want to look at it forever, such as the columnar jointing formed by the cooling and hardening of pyroclastic flows, the emerald green water surface bathed in light, and the waterfalls cascading down the deep gorge. You can immerse yourself in the ethereal world created by nature from the promenade above the gorge or by renting a boat.
