Songshan Ciyou Temple
The Songshan Ciyou Temple, built in 1753, is a Taoist temple dedicated to the goddess Mazu. Mazu is the goddess of navigation and water transportation, and is highly worshipped by the people of Taiwan. As one of the best Taoist temples in Taipei, Songshan Ciyou Temple attracts many locals who come to make their wishes, as well as tourists from the nearby Raohe Street Night Market, who stop by to admire the glittering decorations.
