Sella group
The Sella group, located almost in the center of the vast Dolomites, is one of the highlights of tourism. The spectacular scenery is created by the precipitous plateau rising up from the green hills. A short ropeway ride up the plateau from the beautiful meadows, where alpine plants are in full bloom, takes you to a desolate rocky world where no vegetation grows. Around you, the beautiful panorama of the Alps, including Marmolada (3,343 m), the highest peak in the Dolomites, unfolds in unimaginable beauty.
Dolomites
The Dolomites, a mountainous region in northeastern Italy, is known for its numerous mountain massifs that contain a unique ore called dolomite. The mountains that rise like spires toward the sky are a unique and spectacular natural formation, and their impressive scenery, together with the forests and villages that cover their foothills, is a highlight of the region. It is a major resort area that attracts people all year round, with mountain climbing and hiking in the summer and a skiing mecca in the winter.
