Mount Adatara
Mount Adatara is a group of volcanoes overlooking the Urabandai plateau. There are a series of 1,500-meter-high mountains, led by a 1,728-meter-high Mt. Minowa. It is known for its unique landscape of volcanic desolation and beautiful alpine vegetation. It is loved by mountaineers all year round because it is easy to access by ropeway.

Mount Bandai, the symbol of Fukushima, is an eye-catching, graceful mountain. It is surrounded by beautiful scenery, including the vast Lake Inawashiro and a variety of lakes and marshes created by the eruptions of the Meiji era (1868-1912).
