Öxarárfoss
Öxarárfoss is a waterfall located within Þingvellir National Park, one of Iceland’s most remarkable natural landscapes. Here, water plunges about 13 meters from the distinctive cliffs of the area, and you can admire the falls from up close. A well-maintained path leads to the waterfall, making it easy to access and one of the most popular spots within this UNESCO-listed national park.
Golden Circle
The Golden Circle is a classic tourist route that takes you through the spectacular natural art of Iceland. The most popular spots are the Þingvellir National Park, with the cracks of the continental plates appearing on the surface of the earth; the Geysir, which erupts from the earth; and the Gullfoss Waterfall, where the glacier flows and makes a mighty splash. There are many tours from Reykjavik that will take you to the heartbeat of the earth.
