Nishi Beach

Nishi Beach is located in the northern part of Hateruma Island, not far from Hateruma Port where boats from Ishigaki Island arrive. The unique gradation of shining blue is also called "Hateruma Blue," and it is so beautiful that when you see the beach over the slope, you can't help but stop and admire it.

Hateruma Island is the southernmost inhabited island in Japan. It is famous for its beautiful "Hateruma Blue" sea and for its star gazing under favorable conditions with little artificial lighting.
