The mountains surrounding the lake on three sides are reflected clearly on the calm surface of the lake, which is beautiful and is also known as "Mirror Lake. The lake is also a treasure house of many living creatures, including the Iwatoko catfish, which lives only in Lake Biwa and Lake Yogo, and is a popular fishing spot.
