Carrer de Balmes
Carrer de Balmes is one of the main roads connecting the sea and mountain sides of the city of Barcelona. The street is approximately 3.8 km long, and the roadway is one-way from the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district on the mountain side to the Eixample district on the sea side. While the street, with its universities, movie theaters, and metro station, is closely connected to local life, the Eixample side has many hotels and restaurants, creating an open, bustling atmosphere.
Barcelona
Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is one of the world's leading tourist cities, facing the Mediterranean Sea and blessed with a mild climate. It is famous for its architecture by Antoni Gaudí, who was active in the 19th century, and especially for the splendor of the Sagrada Familia, which is still being built today. The city's large area is also home to many other attractions, such as the historic Gothic Quarter, Montjuïc with its many museums, and Tibidabo, which offers a panoramic view of Barcelona.
