Kathmandu, Nepal
Durbar Square
Durbar Square is located in the center of Patan, facing the old royal palace of the Malla dynasty. Numerous medieval temples stand side by side, each with elaborate construction and detailed carvings by the Newars. The beautiful square has become one of the most popular tourist spots in Nepal, and is always crowded with tourists, vendors wandering around with souvenirs in their hands, and locals relaxing.
Patan
Patan, adjacent to the capital Kathmandu to the south, is one of the largest cities in the country, but is also a tourist town blessed with a beautiful historical heritage. The high culture of the Newars, who established the Malla dynasty in the Middle Ages, has been handed down to the present, and the city is home to many artists and artisans, with Buddhist and Hindu temples, workshops, and stores where you can see their magnificent handiwork.
