Nachi Falls

Nachi Falls is one of the three most famous waterfalls in Japan. The waterfall collects the rainwater that pours down from the Kumano mountains and falls 133 meters in a single stroke, with a volume of one ton of water per second and a depth of 10 meters. The waterfall, which boasts the highest single-stage waterfall drop in Japan, is both dynamic and graceful, and has long been an object of worship as a sacred body of the deity. The sacred waterfalls, which are filled with water that is the source of life, and which are blessed with longevity, continue to attract visitors even today.

Kumano Sanzan

Kumano Sanzan is the collective name for three shrines: Kumano Hongu Taisha, Kumano Nachi Taisha, and Kumano Hayatama Taisha. Kumano Sanzan started as a place of nature worship, and as a "gateway to the Pure Land," the faith spread from the imperial family to the common people. Visitors are welcomed with a majestic atmosphere created by history.
