Kumagaya
Kumagaya is so famous for its heat that the word "hot" first comes to mind. The abundant land sandwiched between the two major rivers, the Tone River and the Arakawa River, has prospered as a transportation hub since the Edo period (1603-1868), and is blessed with nature while being a local city. It is also attractive that you can easily visit it in 40 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo.
