Giza, Egypt
Giza pyramid complex
The beautiful quadrangular pyramids stand majestically in the desert of Giza. Built around 2500 B.C. during the 4th Dynasty of Egypt, the construction method and internal structure of the pyramids are still shrouded in mystery. Viewed from the south side of the desert, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the tombs of Menkaure, Khafre, and Khufu, starting from the front left, and you will be overwhelmed by the scale of the pyramids. The magnificent ruins, having been built with the best of technology by the wealth and power of the Pharaohs, the sons of the gods, and still retain their brilliance today, are the greatest tourist attraction in modern Egypt,
Memphis and its Necropolis
Memphis, the capital of the Old Kingdom of Egypt, is located on the banks of the majestic Nile River. Around Memphis are a cluster of pyramids, the cemeteries of kings, stretching approximately 30 kilometers from north to south. The pyramids, built over a period of about 500 years from the 27th century B.C., vary in size and state of preservation, and offer visitors a glimpse of a great civilization that swept the world in the distant past.
