Clifton Suspension Bridge
The Clifton Suspension Bridge over the lush Avon Valley is famous as one of the oldest existing steel suspension bridges in the world, and its beautiful appearance is a symbol of Bristol. The bridge is 412 meters long and spans the cliffs 75 meters above the Avon River, allowing visitors to walk up close and admire its massive structure, or take in the panoramic view of the surrounding nature from the nearby observation deck.
