Tre Cime di Lavaredo
Tre Cime di Lavaredo is a mountain group located in the western heart of the Dolomites, about 17 kilometers northeast of Cortina d’Ampezzo. As its name—meaning “the Three Peaks of Lavaredo”—suggests, three sharp rock towers rise side by side, making it one of the most iconic landscapes of the Dolomites. During the summer season, hikers from around the world gather to enjoy trails that offer close-up views of these dramatic peaks.
Dolomites
The Dolomites, a mountainous region in northeastern Italy, is known for its numerous mountain massifs that contain a unique ore called dolomite. The mountains that rise like spires toward the sky are a unique and spectacular natural formation, and their impressive scenery, together with the forests and villages that cover their foothills, is a highlight of the region. It is a major resort area that attracts people all year round, with mountain climbing and hiking in the summer and a skiing mecca in the winter.
