Takimachi Road Park
Located along Route 249 in Hakui, Ishikawa Prefecture, Takimachi Road Park is a parking lot set up as a rest stop on the drive. The observatory here is secretly popular as a place where you can see the wonderful scenery of rice paddies and the sea that is typical of Noto. The beautiful scenery, which varies depending on the season and time of day, such as the lush green ears of rice and the distant fishing fires, will relieve the fatigue of driving.
Noto
Noto is a peninsula jutting out into the Sea of Japan, with an impressive landscape of varied coastlines and beautifully formed rice paddies. Noto has prospered since ancient times as a transit point for trade on the Sea of Japan, and its unique culture and traditions are alive and well. The area is full of attractions that will make you want to stay longer, such as riding a local train to view the tranquil scenery of the sea and the satoyama from the train window, enjoying seafood and mountain delicacies, and soaking in a relaxing hot spring bath.
