Singapore, Singapore
Dawson
Dawson is a new residential area east of Queenstown Station, where the government's HDB (state-owned housing development) redevelopment program, which began in 2007, has led to the creation of a series of modern-design high-rise apartment buildings. The housing complexes, each with its own unique shape, are spaciously arranged in rows, with lush green parks and pathways in between, creating a relaxing atmosphere. With a rooftop garden open to all, it is the perfect place to get a glimpse of the cutting-edge lifestyle of the people of Singapore.
Queenstown
Queenstown, located west of downtown Singapore, was the first satellite city of Singapore built after World War II. Originally a rubber plantation and cemetery, the area was developed into a new town with large-scale public housing. About 70 years later, a wave of development has once again hit the city, which had a large population of elderly people, and the area continues to evolve. The area is full of local vitality, with many fashionable cafes, restaurants, and shopping spots.
