Málaga Roman Theatre
The Roman theatre is an ancient ruin that stands at the foot of the hill of Gibralfaro. It was buried under the ground for many years, but is now preserved and open to the public. The stage and seating area have been preserved in their original form, and every summer open-air performances are held here. If you sit in the tiered seating area, you can imagine the people of Málaga thousands of years ago who would have enjoyed the performances here.
