Black Lütschine
The Black Lütschine River flows through the valley for about 20 km, collecting water from the Upper Grindelwald Glacier. It joins the White Lütschine River near the Zweilütschinen station of the Bernese Oberland Railway, where it becomes the Lütschine River and empties into Lake Brienz with its turquoise waters. Along the river, visitors can enjoy a peaceful stroll while admiring the beautiful waterside scenery with the Alps in the background.
Bernese Oberland
The Bernese Oberland, which occupies the southern highlands of the Bernese canton, is known as a scenic area of forests, lakes, and meadows at the foot of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks and other alpine peaks. It is a major resort area that attracts visitors all year round, with a full range of cable cars and ropeways that make it easy to enjoy the 4,000-meter mountains, hiking in the summer, and skiing in the winter.
