Cherry blossoms at Ryuganbuchi
The Uruigawa River originates in the Osawa-kuzure valley, which appears as a large crack in the surface of Mt. Fuji. Around where the stream passes from Fujinomiya City to Fuji City, there is Ryuganbuchi, famous for its rows of cherry trees. This place, where the pale pink of the cherry blossoms and the yellow of the rape blossoms along the banks of the clear stream, and the snow-covered white of Mt. Fuji in the background create a beautiful harmony, has established itself as one of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in Shizuoka Prefecture.
Mt.Fuji
Fuji, one of Japan's most famous peaks. At 3,776 meters above sea level, it is the highest peak in Japan and is also an independent peak, so its beautiful shape can be seen from a distance. Fuji has been an object of mountain worship since ancient times, and has also been a cultural stronghold for the Japanese people, appearing in many songs and paintings. Fuji and its surrounding area has become a major tourist destination, attracting people from all over the world.
