Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy
Vezzano
Vezzano is one of the main towns in the Valle dei Laghi, a region known for its valleys and lakes. It lies along the main road connecting Trento, the regional capital, with Lake Garda to the south. With a population of around 2,000, the town has a peaceful, small-town atmosphere while offering a good selection of hotels and restaurants. It also makes an excellent base for exploring the surrounding mountains and beautiful lakes.
Italian Lakes
Several long, narrow, glacier-carved lakes in the southern foothills of the Alps are called Italian Lakes. This scenic area has long been a favorite of aristocrats, and even today it is an exclusive resort with mansions and villas. Lake Como, dotted with aristocratic mansions with beautiful gardens, Lake Maggiore, whose Alpine scenery has attracted artists, and Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, are representative examples. The mild climate allows visitors to enjoy a relaxing and luxurious stay while taking a cruise or strolling along the lakeside.
