Chicago Theatre
The Chicago Theatre is located along State Street, one of the main streets in the Chicago Loop. It is a local landmark with a glittering neon sign that is unmistakably American. When it first opened in 1921, it was a luxurious movie theater with state-of-the-art facilities. The beautiful building, which was designated on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, has been preserved and is still used as a theater for concerts by famous artists, musicals, and a variety of other shows.
