Okayama
Okayama is a charming city with streets that retain the atmosphere of the Edo period, such as Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden. In addition to the streetcars and retro gate towns, you can enjoy gourmet specialties such as parfaits made with local fruit and demi katsu-don, which are also great points of interest when walking around the city. In the surrounding area, there are many places to explore, such as Kibiji, a cycling tour of historical sites scattered throughout the satoyama landscape, and Uno Port, the gateway to art spots on the Seto Inland Sea.
