Bukkoji Park
Bukkoji Park provides a space for rest and relaxation in between the buildings that crowd along Kiyamachi Dori, a busy street in downtown Kyoto. In a not so large area, cherry blossoms and other trees, benches, and playground equipment such as slides and swings are located. On the west side is the Takase River with its cool rows of trees, and on the east side, across the Misosogi River, the Kamo River offers views of Gion and Higashiyama, making it a valuable spot for taking a break while enjoying the elegant atmosphere typical of Kyoto.
