Vienna S-Bahn
The S-Bahn is a suburban rail network in Vienna operated by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB). It consists of 10 lines, connecting the city of Vienna with various towns to the north, south, east and west. In addition to being a convenient way for commuters to travel from the suburbs into the city, there are also lines that are useful for tourists, and it is one of the main forms of transport in Vienna, with around 300,000 people using it every day.
Belvedere Area
The Belvedere was built in 1723 to the south of the old town of Vienna as a summer residence of Austrian general Prince Eugene. The magnificent baroque pavilion is now a museum known for its Gustav Klimt collection. The surrounding area is home to embassies, universities, unique restaurants and stores, and with the opening of the Vienna Central Station in 2014, it is becoming an increasingly busy international train destination.
