Ryuogabuchi Pond
Ryuogabuchi Pond is a pond located on the hillside of Mt. Nukaidake, known as Yamato Fuji, at an altitude of 530 meters above sea level. The pond is a natural reservoir that collects water from springs and streams, and is fringed by trees and reeds that close in on the shore, giving it a peaceful and quiet appearance. Especially in the early morning on a clear, windless day, the surrounding trees and sky are reflected in the mirror-like surface of the water, creating an even more tranquil and fantastic atmosphere.
Uda
The city of Uda has flourished as a post town since ancient times, with a junction of highways connecting Osaka and Ise. The townscape, which still retains many vestiges of the Edo period (1603-1868), welcomes travelers with open arms. The deeper you go into the mountains toward Ise, the more beautiful and soothing spots you will find, such as old temples with their quaint appearance, old cherry trees that have been pleasing people's eyes for hundreds of years, and a plateau covered with silver grass.
