Dubai Canal
Opened in 2016, the Dubai Canal is a 3.2 km long man-made canal that encircles Downtown Dubai. It begins at the far end of the original inlet, Dubai Creek, and passes through Business Bay, Safa Park, and the Jumeirah district before connecting to the Arabian Sea. New high-rise buildings are being built around the canal, and the number of hotels and restaurants overlooking the canal continues to grow. The new waterfront area enriches the desert landscape and is a great place to cruise and stroll.
Business Bay
Business Bay is an ongoing development that stretches along the Dubai Canal, south of Downtown Dubai. Walkways and parks have been developed along the Dubai Canal, which opened in 2016 as an extension of the Dubai Creek, a natural inlet, to allow visitors to walk and bike while enjoying an exhilarating view of downtown. More than 200 skyscrapers are scheduled to be built around the area, and luxury hotels and restaurants are opening one after another.
