Lake Stellisee

Lake Stellisee is located east of Zermatt on a mountain at an altitude of 2,537 meters above sea level. It is a popular spot to enjoy the most beautiful scenery of the Matterhorn and the lake around Zermatt. The hare's-tail cottongrass fluff sways along the shore, and fish can be seen in the clear water. On a calm morning, the Matterhorn is clearly reflected on the lake, and together with the surrounding mountains, it forms a spectacular natural artwork before your eyes.

Matterhorn

Located on the border between Switzerland and Italy, the 4,478-meter-high Matterhorn is one of the most beautiful mountains in the Alps. The sharp, pyramid-like peak against the blue sky is a magnet for people from all over the world. There are many observation spots and hiking trails that allow non-mountaineers to view the mountain easily, including a mountain climbing train and a ropeway.
