Anti-Atlas
The Anti-Atlas Mountains lie about 500 km from the Atlantic Ocean to the northeast. Facing the High Atlas to the north and the Sahara Desert to the south, it has a Saharan climate with little rainfall. Traditional Berber towns are scattered throughout the region, and quaint fortresses, casbahs, with a sense of history remain here and there. The rows of sun-dried brick houses harmonizing with the desolate rocky mountains and earth show us the simple beauty of Morocco's original landscape.
