Takase River
The Takase River, which runs along Kiyamachi-dori, a street lined with restaurants in the center of Kyoto, has always had an elegant and quaint look to it, despite the fact that the entertainment district has changed with the times. At night in the spring, the cherry blossoms that cover the river are lit up, and the beauty of the river attracts many tourists to this spot for cherry blossom viewing.
