Andalusia, Spain
Puente Nuevo
The Puente Nuevo is a magnificent 98-meter-high stone bridge that spans the cliffs of the Ronda Gorge. As the name "new bridge" in Spanish implies, it was built in 1793 and is the newest of the three bridges connecting the old and new towns of Ronda. The bridge is a symbol of Ronda, with its beautiful arches spanning the canyon, and it is a sight to behold from any angle.
Andalusia's White Towns Route
When you think of Andalusia, the simple village where white-walled houses stand out against the blue sky comes to mind. There are many such white towns and villages in the area between the provinces of Cádiz and Málaga. The beauty of the scenery, with houses painted white with lime to protect them from the heat and colorful flowers in potted plants, is something you will never get tired of seeing. There are many ways to enjoy the refreshing village scenery: take a road trip to visit several towns on a drive, or stay in a small village and enjoy a walk in the intricate alleys.
