Mikazuki Dialysis Clinic
Clinic

Mikazuki Dialysis Clinic, which opened in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture, was designed with the concept of “harmony with nature,” incorporating thoughtful touches throughout the facility to nurture both the mind and body. Three Atmoph Window Yo were installed in the management office and restrooms.
Q. Why did you choose to install Atmoph Window Yo?
We chose Atmoph Window Yo with the hope that it would bring a smile to both patients and staff. Dialysis becomes necessary when kidney function drops below 15%, and patients are no longer able to urinate. In such circumstances, we wanted to create an environment where patients could feel a little brighter when using the restroom, and where staff could work comfortably.

Q. What aspects of the product appealed to you?
The ability to enjoy approximately 2,000 views from around the world is unique to Atmoph Window Yo. Additionally, we were impressed by its ease of use and the ability to connect multiple units to create a panoramic view.
Q. What are your future expectations for Atmoph Window Yo?
I hope the video quality improves further. Additionally, I would love it if it had a frame resembling a real window, giving it a more realistic presence. It would be great if it could create a little bit of a different world when installed in offices, restaurants, or homes.
If more advanced features are developed, for example, the ability to connect to Zoom for online conversations, that would be even better.

Q. Do you have a favorite view on Atmoph Window Yo?
Since I used to work as a mountain guide in Yakushima, I particularly love the landscapes of Yakushima. Yakushima is a place with traditional Japanese scenery, especially known for its deep valleys. It's an island with heavy rainfall, often described as “raining 35 days a month,” which has allowed a rich variety of plants to thrive and preserved many pristine forests. Having 10 different scenes of Yakushima available is one of the charms of Atmoph Window Yo.

Q. How have people reacted since you started using it?
It's absolutely amazing. When we show staff the restroom as part of facility tours, they often don't want to leave because they love it so much. While it's common to incorporate plants for relaxation in restrooms, the contrast with the modern Atmoph Window Yo is striking, and staff members have even expressed interest in purchasing it for their own homes.

Mikazuki Dialysis Clinic
From the perspective that “treatment is a moment to harmonize the mind and body,” we redefine dialysis treatment not as a routine but as a valuable time for self-care, proposing a new approach to healthcare that allows patients to truly feel its value. We position the entire facility as a “place that nourishes the mind and body,” incorporating plants that evoke nature into the space to provide healing and vitality to patients and medical staff. By pursuing comfort, we aim to establish new standards for medical spaces and serve as a role model for other facilities and industries. We strive to influence the local community and the industry as a whole, enhance patient and staff satisfaction, and contribute to improving the image of medical facilities.
