Charlottenburg Palace

Charlottenburg Palace is a Prussian-era palace that still stands in the western part of Berlin. It was built in 1699 by the first king of Prussia, Friedrich I, for his wife, Zofie Charlotte, as a summer residence, and was enlarged by subsequent kings until it assumed its present form. The interior of the well-proportioned Baroque palace is richly decorated, with each room having a different taste.

Kurfürstendamm

Ku'dam has been a bustling main street since the days of West Berlin. Stylish stores, cafes, and restaurants are clustered along the street lined with beautiful trees. The area is also home to Berlin's symbolic Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Germany's oldest zoo, and many other attractions. The area is perfect for sightseeing and souvenir shopping.
