Landwehr Canal

The Landwehr Canal was built parallel to the Spree River, which flows east to west through the city of Berlin. Designed by Prussian urban planner Peter Joseph Lenné, the canal was opened in 1850, and after surviving the ravages of war, it continued to play a key role in the transportation of goods until the latter half of the 20th century. Today, it is an idyllic waterway where pleasure boats ply the waters, providing a place of recreation and relaxation for residents and tourists alike.

Kreuzberg

The town of Kreuzberg is located at the eastern end of former West Berlin, south of the Mitte district, the center of Berlin. Many immigrants from various countries, including Turkey, reside in the area, and the scent of different cultures wafts from the food stalls along the streets. In recent years, Kreuzberg has become known as a town of young people and artists, and the number of cafes, bars, and clubs here is increasing year by year.
