The Katarina kyrka , with its large tower, stands at the top of a slope in the Södermalm district, and is a historic church dating back to 1695, but the current building was built in 1995. It features a neat pastel yellow exterior, and the interior is modern and chic. The octagonal tower with a clock is a landmark of Södermalm, where the latest stores and restaurants are located.
Södermalm
Södermalm is a trendy town popular among young people in Stockholm. It is a large island located just south of Gamla Stan.
