Riddarholmen Church

Riddarholmen Church, located on the island of Lidderholmen next to Gamla Stan, is a church with an impressive openwork cast-iron spire that originated from a 13th century Franciscan monastery and is one of the oldest churches in Sweden. Although it is not a parish church, but a church where royal burials and memorial services are held, it is open to tourists, who can visit the bright but solemn interior.

Gamla Stan

Gamla Stan, which has long flourished as the center of Stockholm, is an area on an island in Lake Mälaren where narrow cobblestone alleys and historic buildings line the streets, giving visitors the feeling of stepping back in time to a medieval city.
