Mishaka Pond

Mishaka Pond is quietly located along the Yumichi Highway leading to Okutateshina Hot Spring Resort. This place was the motif of "Midori hibiku (Green Resonance)," a masterpiece by the Japanese painter Kaii Higashiyama. The deep green larch forest reflected on the surface of the lake spreads out in front of you as a picturesque scene. It is a photo spot where many photographers gather to capture the beauty of the changing seasons.
