Victor Emmanuel II Monument

Vittorio Emanuele II Monument, a chalk-white building facing Piazza Venezia in the center of the old city of Rome, was completed in 1911 on the 50th anniversary of the unification of Italy. It is one of the newest landmarks in Rome, and its imposing white marble structure gives it a unique presence, and the view from the roof makes it a popular tourist spot.
