Tunnel View
The Tunnel View, built in 1933, is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Yosemite National Park as a lookout spot to enjoy a great view of Yosemite Valley. On the way to Yosemite Valley from the south entrance of the park, through the Wawona Tunnel, you will find the parking lot of the observatory. Standing at the observatory, which is designed so that no man-made structures such as roads can be seen, you can see the breathtakingly beautiful natural scenery.
Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park, located in the western foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, is a paradise for flora and fauna, with its wilderness of virgin forests, valleys and lakes. The park is full of attractions such as giant sequoia trees, El Capitan, the world's largest granite monolith, and Yosemite Falls, the largest waterfall in the U.S. You can enjoy nature throughout the year, camping and trekking from spring to autumn, and skiing in winter.
