Palm Springs

About 180 km east of Los Angeles lies the city of Palm Springs, a desert oasis surrounded by mountains. Greater Palm Springs

The Coachella Valley in southern California is a vast plain approximately 72 km long and 24 km wide, surrounded by 3,000-meter-high mountains. The nine cities in this region, collectively known as Greater Palm Springs, are a major winter resort area that takes advantage of the mild desert climate. The area hosts a variety of events each year, including film and music festivals, as well as a wide range of activities that allow visitors to enjoy the great outdoors, such as golf and hiking.
