Valencia City Hall
The City Hall, the center of Valencia's city government, stands in a section of the old town that is lined with various historical buildings. The highlight of the building is the beautiful façade with its central balcony, the clock tower extending above it, and the red-roofed towers at both ends. The square in front of it is the setting for the Valencia Fallas, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Site, and is known for the spectacular firecracker shows that take place during the festival.
Valencia
Valencia is the third largest city in Spain facing the Mediterranean Sea. Valencia has long flourished as a port city, and in addition to the numerous historical buildings that adorn the center of the city, it is blessed with a wealth of tourist resources, including the innovative design of the City of Arts and Sciences and the Falles. Known for its mild climate and rich produce, including oranges and rice, Valencia also offers a gourmet tour of its markets and restaurants.
